THE GAME

The Game image.jpeg

The woman was worried about the state of the world. At every turn, and almost daily, it seemed what she had thought was real was not. Lies masqueraded as truth, corruption was rife and disinformation abounded. Yes, people were waking up. But would it be enough?

That night she dreamt of a game of chess in which the black and white pieces were moved by unseen hands – some the hands of truth, others not. The image seemed to represent and confirm all her fears.

But then the focus shifted. She could now see the chess board and all its pieces were held by God and there was in fact nothing to fear.

Yes, the game would play out, battles would be fought, and yes, it would take some time. But the outcome was already assured.

Patience, steadiness and a deep trust were all that would be required.
